Jim Reeves and his band, the Blue Boys, were booked for a show at Panther Hall in Ft. Worth, Texas on Friday August 7th, 1964. They had performed at Panther Hall before. Unfortunately, Jim Reeves and Dean Manuel, his piano player, were killed when Jim's plane went down exactly a week before, on July 31st, 1964.
